Terms of use
These terms apply to makhubstudio.com and the PDF Studio tools on it, operated by MakHub Studio. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the tools.
1. The service
PDF Studio gives you free tools to create, convert, edit, compress and protect documents. The tools run in your web browser. We may add, change or remove tools at any time, and the site may occasionally be unavailable.
2. Your files
Files you open are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to us. The tools always create a new file and never change your original, but you are still responsible for keeping copies of anything important.
3. Acceptable use
- Only process documents you own or have permission to work with.
- Use the Unlock tool only on PDFs whose password you are entitled to know.
- Do not use the tools to forge signatures, alter official documents to mislead anyone, or break any law.
- Do not try to disrupt the site, copy it wholesale, or interfere with its advertising.
4. Results and accuracy
Conversions are best-effort. A PDF turned into Word is rebuilt from the text inside it, fonts can be substituted when you edit text, and strong compression lowers image quality. Always open and check the result before you submit it anywhere official.
5. No warranty
The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, MakHub Studio is not liable for any loss of data, lost opportunities, or indirect or consequential damages that result from using or being unable to use the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
7. Advertising and third parties
The site shows ads served by Google and its partners, which use cookies as described in the privacy policy. The tools load open-source libraries from public content networks. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
8. Intellectual property
The site design, text and PDF Studio code belong to MakHub Studio. The open-source libraries it uses remain under their own licences. The documents you create are yours.
9. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.
